Minerva was not randomly chosen as the name for our dog school. The pedigree name of Luna, the dog of one of the founders, is Minerva McGonagall. She is a very special dog with whom she followed many courses. Minerva represents wisdom, vigilance and resourcefulness and these are three qualities that every dog trainer should invest in. The wisdom to choose a good training method, the vigilance to teach the dog the desired behavior and the ingenuity to adapt the method to what the dog and owner need at that moment. Our dog training does exactly this and we are very proud of it!

We are affiliated with Raad van Beheer and have attended various training and courses at accredited institutes. We are constantly continuing our education. As a result, we have seen many different training methods pass by and are up to date with the latest developments. Our trainings, refresher courses, courses and workshops are attended at O&O, Argos Scentwork Academy, Knowledge Center Argos, Annorlunda Kynologisch Kenniscentrum, Tinley Academy, Raad van Beheer, Doggo and Kynoflow.

If you’re looking for a unique kind of dog training where the focus is on both fun exercises and strengthening the bond with your dog—along with obedience—this is the place for you! Every class is different, even if you repeat it like we did (because it’s just that much fun). Both my dog and I love going, and we’ve also tried two other classes—detection and hoopers—which were just as enjoyable and refreshing. Angela and Natasja are fantastic trainers. The courses are offered in both Dutch and English, and the small group size ensures that every dog (and their owner) gets plenty of attention and time to practice.
Als u op zoek bent naar een unieke vorm van hondentraining waarbij de nadruk ligt op zowel leuke oefeningen als het versterken van de band met uw hond – naast gehoorzaamheid – dan bent u hier aan het juiste adres! Elke les is anders, zelfs als je hem herhaalt zoals wij deden (omdat het gewoon zo leuk is). Zowel mijn hond als ik gaan graag, en we hebben ook twee andere lessen geprobeerd – detectie en hoopers – die net zo leuk en verfrissend waren. Angela en Natasja zijn fantastische trainers. De cursussen worden zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels aangeboden en de kleine groepsgrootte zorgt ervoor dat iedere hond (en zijn baasje) voldoende aandacht en tijd krijgt om te oefenen.

Highly recommended for any training you might be thinking for your pup! Natasja and Angela are very knowledgeable and dedicated. My cocker spaniel took the puppy course and we both learned a lot! I also received valuable personal tips and advice. We have now started detection / scent work and my boy had a blast. Looking forward to finishing the course and starting a new one!
Een echte aanrader voor elke training die u voor uw pup overweegt! Natasja en Angela zijn zeer deskundig en toegewijd. Mijn Cocker Spaniël heeft de puppycursus gevolgd en we hebben allebei veel geleerd! Ook kreeg ik waardevolle persoonlijke tips en adviezen. We zijn inmiddels begonnen met detectie-/geurwerk en mijn hond heeft het fantastisch gehad. Ik kijk ernaar uit om de cursus af te ronden en aan een nieuwe te beginnen!

Alleen maar positieve ervaringen met Natasja en Angela. We hebben met onze rescue hond – die best wat gedragsuitdagingen heeft – klassikale en persoonlijke lessen gehad, en ze hebben ons enorm geholpen met tips en training waardoor we Didi (en honden in het algemeen) beter begrijpen. Tijdens groepslessen letten de trainers erg goed op de dynamiek tussen de verschillende honden, en krijgen we elke keer andere leuke opdrachten. Zowel theorie als praktijk worden goed uitgelegd en er is altijd ruimte voor persoonlijk advies. De detectie lessen zijn ook een aanrader – erg leuk om te zien hoeveel plezier onze hond erin heeft, en het helpt ons en onze hond ook buiten de lessen omdat we nog meer leren, o.a. over hoe we beter haar aandacht kunnen krijgen en haar gedrag kunnen sturen.
Only positive experiences with Natasja and Angela. We have had group training and personal training with our rescue dog – who has quite a few behavioral challenges – and they have helped us enormously with tips and training that help us understand Didi (and dogs in general) better. During group training, the trainers pay close attention to the dynamics between the different dogs, and we receive different fun assignments each time. Both theory and practice are well explained and there is always room for personal advice. The detection classes are also recommended – very nice to see how much fun our dog has, and it also helps us and our dog outside the classes because we learn even more, including how we can better get her attention and steer her behavior.
